The 2025 vintage was marked by exceptional health. A wet, cold winter with heavy rains in July and August provided the vines with the resilience needed to withstand the dry summer that followed. The result was clean, vibrant fruit arriving in the cellar.
This Chenin Blanc, crafted in an unwooded style, is bursting with fruit and holds a special place in our range. Chenin is our most widely planted cultivar, grown from both old and young vines across varied aspects and clones. It is often the first wine people encounter -whether at the farm, in a restaurant, or at a wine store, and that first impression is crucial. It sets the tone, inviting you to explore the rest of our collection. The gateway to Beaumont wines
To capture the grape’s freshness and purity, we harvest from multiple vineyards and ferment with a mix of yeasts - some natural (pied de cuve) and others inoculated. Fermentation and maturation take place in both concrete and stainless-steel vessels, ensuring balance and clarity. Finally, the wine is matured on the lees, adding texture, weight, and subtle complexity. Our aim remains constant: to craft a benchmark example of cooler-climate Chenin Blanc.
