After three days of skin contact at 7 °C, fermentation takes place in stainless steel, preserving the grape’s bright fruit character and enhancing textural depth.
Sourced from a single vineyard located near the top of Stellenbosch Kloof, adjacent to the Ou Kaapse Hardepad, this site benefits from an Atlantic-influenced, cool microclimate. The soils are composed of decomposed white granite and sandstone—hence the “White Granite” name. The wine is matured in stainless steel (no oak), maintaining its vibrant acidity and allowing the natural waxy texture from the skins to shine.
Tasting Notes: When young, it presents crisp, refreshing acidity with vibrant citrus and melon aromas. As it matures, the wine evolves to reveal honeyed and nutty flavours, developing a rich, waxy creaminess on the palate.
Sémillon can be enjoyed while young, but can also mature gracefully up to 20 years in the bottle.
