P Jackson demonstrates the silky elegance of a Cape vintage. The intense concentration comes from a blend of Touriga Franca, Souzao and Tinta Barocca grapes that were fortified after accumulating high sugar levels in the berries during ripening. Four years of barrel ageing allowed flavours of ripe red and black berries to develop alongside a velvet-cloaked palate with hints of sweet spice. Hand-corked, waxed and labelled, only 1,200 bottles were produced of this limited release. 375ml. Alc 17.5%
Late Bottled Vintage. 39% Souzão, 39% Touriga Franca and 22% Tinta Barocca. Red and black berries, fynbos, spice and chocolate on the nose.
