A bright Swartland white with generosity, freshness and a bigger purpose behind it.
A blend of 70% Chenin Blanc, 20% Grenache Blanc and 10% Viognier from the Swartland, the Big Picture is made by Inzuzo Wine Co., a project rooted in community upliftment in Sir Lowry’s Pass. Chenin Blanc provides the core and texture, Grenache Blanc brings a rounded, sunny character, while Viognier adds a gentle floral lift. Fresh, easy-drinking and full of flavour, this is a white made for the table.
Tasting notes: Delicate yellow in colour, with an invigorating bouquet of fresh pear, crisp apple and a squeeze of zesty lime. The palate is vibrant and fruit-driven, balanced by lively acidity and subtle mineral undertones. It finishes clean and refreshing, with citrus lingering long after the last sip.
Food pairing: A versatile white for relaxed, flavourful food. Seafood: Grilled hake with lemon, fennel and caper butter mirrors the wine’s citrus drive and mineral edge. Chicken: Roast chicken with preserved lemon, olives and herbs works beautifully with its ripe orchard-fruit character. Vegetarian dishes: Whipped feta with charred courgettes and mint, or a spring vegetable tart with goat’s cheese, suits its soft texture and floral lift.
