Tasting Notes: The wine is forthcoming on the nose with a mix of spice and both red and black fruit. On the palate, it is balanced and elegant, showing flavours of liquorice, red berries, ripe plums and a lot of spice, with a slight meaty undertone. It finishes with a fruit-sweet cranberry note that lingers pleasantly. The round tannins and the balance between fruit, spice and alcohol make this a polished and satisfying wine. The addition of 5% Grenache adds an extra layer of freshness and subtle red fruit to the blend, rounding out the Pinotage beautifully.

This is a wine that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with lamb, venison or a rich tomato-based pasta. Serve slightly chilled in a large glass to allow its aromas and flavours to open up fully.
